Celebrating a day in the life of a preschool child is the underlying theme and goal of Mikey Goes to School.
The story follows young Mikey’s day, beginning with his commute to school with his Mommy, arriving to hear his teacher read the children a story, playing with his friends, nap time, and more.
The goal of this first-of-a-series book, is to introduce interesting and relevant material to preschool children, and to present it to them in such a way that they can relate to.
Mikey Goes to School touches on the natural concepts of ocean life and the life cycle of a butterfly, as well as introducing concepts such as memory, social interactions and the fond feelings of love all children have for their parents.
