“If You Were an Elf: Sailing to Sleep…an interactive storybook collection” by Carrie Garvin

The story begins with a Christmas list that is not complete. With the help of a homeless reindeer and the magic of an Elf, your child will set sail from land to sea. Imagine a child’s bed turns into a ship, and their sheets the sails! The adventure sails your child to help solve a problem while learning a lesson about the kindness of having a pet. Your child will love interacting throughout the story with questions like, “If you were an Elf, what would you do?”

Author, Carrie Garvin, lives in a cottage on the Eastern Shore of Maryland with her husband and two rescue dogs. Coming soon are other Sailing to Sleep interactive stories that will include: If You Were a Pirate, If You Were a Mermaid, and If You Were a Monster. Carrie draws inspiration for her children’s books from a handful of delightful, high spirited grandchildren, her rescued pups, and waterfront living.
