“Hockey Hiccups” by Gerry Cav

I love hockey as much as the next kid, but wait until you hear about the season I just had. As my parents would put it, I’m a coach’s nightmare. Tonight, my hockey team, the Flamearoo, is having our team night to celebrate the end of the season. This is also when we find out who will win ‘The Player of the Season’ trophy. But this year, I know for sure I won’t win it, although my parents keep telling me, ‘you never know, son’. But that’s parents for you! What a season by the way, and the only way to find out is to read this book, of course. Go Flamearoos!
