“Cosey and 100 Trees” by Rory Harrop

Cosey is a young boy when he comes across a pamphlet outside of his villages postal service. Curious, he takes the pamphlet home to his granny to read for him, the pamphlet was from a local charity encouraging young folk to plant trees for a small reward, if they can complete the challenge set by the charity, by planting, growing, caring and planting 100 trees then he will be rewarded with a wonderful prize.

Cosey accepts the challenge with a lot of help from his aging granny, and succeeds in his mission.
He wins, and is rewarded with a brand new mountain bike.
Cosey had never ridden a bicycle before, but his perseverance, endurance and sheer determination takes him places some can only dream of.
